Note

This is a traditional Granny square pattern. I wanted my colors to be even around the bottom so I single crocheted blue around one side at the end. This is very much your preference and may depend on where your colors fall!

  1. Hello Crochet therapy, in round 1 of the hat dome (after the magic ring step) do you half double crochet into 2 threads or just one, and is it the inner thread or outer thread? Thanks

    1. Hi Lily,
When I make a magic I end up crocheting over one thread so it pulls tight easier. If you would like to skip the magic ring altogether, just chain 4, join with a slst to first ch, ch 1 and work your first Round into the loop made with your chain.
